Riverside – Student Transfer Education Program (R-STEP)
Join a free, transfer preparation program for California Community College students who are working toward a successful transfer to a four-year university. You’ll get a built-in support system, personalized guidance, and helpful resources to prepare for your journey.

Take Your First R-STEP
It's simple to join R-STEP. You'll have direct access to a UCR Admission Specialist to build a transfer plan and secure your Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG). Add in special workshops and campus events, and you'll arrive at UCR ready to hit the ground running.
Road to Riverside (R2R)
The R2R program is your path to UCR. It combines the resources of UCR and the Riverside Community College District (RCCD) to help you achieve your academic dreams. As an R2R student, you’ll begin your journey at one of the three RCCD campuses where you'll receive personalized support, guaranteed admission to UCR through a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG), and a clear route to becoming a UCR Highlander.

Starting community college is a big step. Community College Summer Programs help you get off to a strong start with early guidance, helpful resources, and support as you work toward transferring to a UC campus or another four-year university.
Community College Summer Programs brings together strong partnerships, personalized programs, and engaging opportunities to provide lasting, equitable support for students who have been historically underrepresented and underserved as they navigate each stage of the transfer process.
