Know your goals and prepare your questions. Consider research opportunities, internships, career readiness resources, and graduate school preparation. Don’t forget to explore housing, dining, and ways to get involved on campus and in the community.
If you want to apply to a UC for Fall 2026, begin your UC application now to give yourself enough time to ask questions and prepare the needed documentation. There is only one application for all UC campuses, and the submission deadline is Nov. 30, 2025.

During the Event
Attend key sessions to help you reach your goals.
Meet with academic advisors. Ask how your current credits apply to your intended major. Find out which classes you should or shouldn’t take before transferring. Visit ASSIST.org to learn which courses satisfy the selecting major requirements.
Chat with current students. Ask about campus culture, support services, and the transfer experience.
Take notes to capture the connections you’ve made and any advice you receive.
After the Event
Follow up with the contacts you made at the event to thank them or ask additional questions.
