If you’re admitted to UCR, the International Student and Scholars (ISS) Office will become your point-of-contact for U.S. immigration advice related to your student status. Services related to U.S. immigration include pre-arrival guidance on obtaining a visa to enter the U.S., maintaining lawful student status throughout your academic program, and guidance on international travel and working in the U.S. The ISS office will also help you navigate on and off campus resources and provide ongoing programming, workshops, and orientations to support your success and wellness at UCR.

Applying for Aid

Pay for school with scholarships and grants (FREE money), and graduate with less debt. Apply for as many financial aid awards as you’d like — from UCR and all sorts of outside agencies, businesses, and non-profits. You can earn monies from your admitting UCR college or school, as well as for academic achievement, leadership, athletics, and art.

Safety

Safety is a top priority at UCR. We have a 24/7, on-campus Police & Campus Safety, an emergency notification system that sends text alerts, a no-tolerance policy against sexual violence and secure residence halls with video surveillance, restricted card access and live-in staff. At night, our Highlander Safety Team patrol halls and parking lots, and Campus Safety Escorts accompany students across campus.
