The University of California, Riverside is featured in a new episode of the streaming series “The College Tour.” Hosted by “Amazing Race” winner, Alex Boylan, the premise tells the story of a single university through the lens of its students.

Ten current UCR students share their experiences, including the experience of being a transfer student, being a student parent, planning campus concerts and events, and even the story of one alumni who graduated from UCR and is now enrolled in the UCR School of Medicine. All of the stories include support services that helped them thrive at UCR and advice that both prospective and current students can benefit from.

Aimed at helping prospective students tour colleges across the country, the series began in 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and when touring campuses was difficult. Now, from the comfort of their own homes, students can learn about universities, what makes them special, and why they might want to attend.

“You’re going to get what UC Riverside looks like, which is a very diversified and inclusive community across the board,” said host and executive producer Alex Boylan. “There are some great stories there.” See the full interview from Alex Boylan in this article from Inside UCR.
