The Transfer Admission Guarantee Program (TAG)
If you follow the path laid out by our TAG Program, you could earn guaranteed admission to UCR.
By completing a series of classes at your California community college (and meeting other eligibility requirements), you can “TAG” to UCR.
The UC Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) serves as both your progress tracker and your TAG application.
Plan to submit your application September 1-30, 2015, for Fall Quarter 2016. You may only TAG to one UC.
Transferring to a UC Just Got Easier
If you are a California community college student, the new UC Transfer Pathways gives you a crystal-clear roadmap to transfer to a UC (including UCR!).
If you follow a Transfer Pathway, you take a single set of courses designed to both prepare for admission and graduate on time.
Transfer Pathways covers 10 of UC’s most popular majors and there are plans to create 11 more.
Note: Following a Transfer Pathway doesn't guarantee admission, but it does give you a clear roadmap to make yourself a competitive candidate.
UC Riverside Puente Connection
We created Puente Connection to provide Puente Project Participants, or “Puentistas,” with more opportunities to connect with UCR and build leadership skills.
Our Puente Connection student organization is the first of its kind in the UC system and provides continual support to Puentistas who enroll at UCR.
Puente Connection mentors are former community college Puentistas that have transferred to UCR. They provide a student perspective on topics such as the application process, financial aid, professors, student life and more.
